You may be able to deal with us without identifying yourself (ie anonymously or by using a pseudonym) in certain circumstances, such as when you use our website or client portal.

You do not have to provide us with your personal information but if you do not provide us with the personal information that we need, we may not be able to provide our services or assistance to you or our clients on your behalf.

By visiting our website, our client portal, using any of our services or otherwise providing us with your personal information (or authorising it to be provided to us by someone else), you agree to your personal information being handled as set out in this Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and, where appropriate, as set out in our client agreement with you.

Why does Indo-Pacific Solutions collect and use personal information?

Indo-Pacific Solutions only collects, holds and uses personal information for the purposes for which it was provided to us, related purposes or as permitted or required by law. We collect and use the Data in order to carry out a business which provides multidisciplinary legal and consulting services. Any other activities and processing which we carry out is to support these primary business objectives. Our purposes and lawful grounds for processing your personal information vary, depending on our relationship with you and on the activity in question.

Who does Indo-Pacific Solutions disclose personal information to?

Indo-Pacific Solutions will never sell your personal information. We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected and continue to process it, and to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Where applicable we respect your data protection rights, including to request access, rectification, restriction, deletion or “porting” of your personal information, and to object to our use of your Data, including for marketing. We do not make decisions about you based on electronic profiling.

Indo-Pacific Solutions is a multidisciplinary global law and consultancy firm operating through a number of separately constituted and regulated entities which provide legal and other consulting services in accordance with the relevant laws of the jurisdictions in which they respectively operate and Indo-Pacific Solutions may share your personal information with one or more of them.

Your personal information may also be confidentially disclosed to other entities. Such entities generally include:

our third-party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide, manage or administer a service offered through Indo-Pacific Solutions (such as our IT service providers, organisations providing secure storage and archiving services, and insurers)
your representatives (including your financial advisors) if you have provided consent for such disclosure
