- Identity details (e.g., name, date of birth, passport or driver's licence details).

Information is collected directly from you where possible, but may also be obtained from:
- Publicly available sources (e.g., registries).
- Brokers, financiers, or insurers involved in transactions.
- Regulatory or governmental authorities where legally required.

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
- Legal Division – to provide legal advice and representation, in accordance with the Legal Profession Uniform Law (LPUL) and Australian Solicitors' Conduct Rules (ASCR).
- Strategic Consultancy Division – to provide commercial strategy, risk, and operational advisory under the Firm's Service Agreement.
- Compliance Oversight Division – to provide compliance monitoring, reporting, training, and oversight, under subscription or service packages.
- To conduct due diligence, onboarding, and client verification.
- To meet our professional, ethical, and legal obligations.
- For administrative, billing, and business management purposes.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers, agents, brokers, financiers, and insurers directly involved in your matter.
- Regulatory, governmental, or flag-state authorities where disclosure is required by law.
- Our professional advisers (accountants, auditors, insurers) as reasonably necessary.
The Firm does not disclose personal information to third parties for unrelated marketing purposes.
6. Cross-Border Disclosure
Given the international nature of the superyacht sector, information may be transferred across jurisdictions. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with the APPs and any applicable privacy laws.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Security measures include:
- Encrypted electronic storage and communications.
- Access controls restricting information to authorised personnel.
- Secure disposal of confidential information when no longer required.
8. Financial Information
- The Firm does not operate a trust account and will not receive or hold trust money.
- Payment details provided to us are used solely for invoicing and transaction processing.
- All payments are made directly to the Firm's nominated account.
9. Access and Correction
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information held by the Firm. Requests should be directed to our Privacy Officer (details below). We will respond in accordance with the APPs and applicable law.
10. Complaints
If you believe your privacy has been breached, please contact our Privacy Officer. We will investigate your complaint promptly and respond in writing. If you are not satisfied, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
11. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
